New to motorsport in 2008 after some previous Kart racing experience ranging from short
"sprint" racing through to regular endurance races. Andy has teamed up with John to help form
Peartree Hill Racing. Despite being a novice driver he managed to Finish 9th & 6th at Cadwell
Park (out of 26 cars) in a car he had never driven before and also a track he'd never raced on
before. Following this achievement the rest of the season provided mixed results but one
highlight was qualifying 6th at Brands Hatch in heavy rain on Cut Slicks, however, due to
ignition problems his first podium slipped by.

Appart from driving Andy has also assisted in Race Car preparation by re-wiring from scratch
one of Peartree Hills cars, despite never having done it before, and re-building his own race
engine under John's supervision.

Andy is a very competative driver and has a good feel for a cars on the track, he particularly
likes driving in wet or challenging conditions.

In addition Andy acts as team manager at races for John to ensure that schedule changes arn't
a shock and has a can do attitude. Due to economic pressures in 2009 Andy has put his driving
on hold and focused on supporting the teams effort in the BRSCC OSS.
